Warm colours, old wood, rock walls and adobe made from the garden's soil create a soft, pleasing palette. This gives you a general idea of the location of the apartments in the building. XOCHITLAN (The Garden)The front door opens directly to the main room from the path beside the peaceful pool terrace. As well as the sleeping area, there is a small sitting area for cooler evenings. Glass double doors lead from the bedroom to the upper terrace. There, a fully-stocked kitchenette has a two-burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator, blender, toaster and coffee maker. All necessary utensils and good quality pots and pans, as well as attractive dishes and glassware, allow you to prepare and enjoy breakfasts, lunches and light suppers. The 3-piece bathroom is simply decorated in Mexican style with a charming hand-painted sink. The lower terrace is ideal for relaxing with a book or simply enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. The stairs to the apartment bring you to the open, covered kitchenette and eating area, from where you look out at the ocean and the garden below. The kitchen includes a two-burner gas stove and small oven, refrigerator, blender, toaster and coffee maker. All necessary utensils and good quality kitchenware, as well as attractive dishes and glassware, allow you to prepare and enjoy breakfasts, lunches and light suppers. Inside, the spacious bedroom includes a walk-in closet. Even lying in bed you can see the ocean. There is a small sitting area for those rare inclement weather days. The 3-piece bathroom is spacious and bright. AMIXTLI (Ocean Breeze)The dining table seats four comfortably. One can sit on the terrace or lie in bed and watch the tropical birds and iguanas in the giant fig tree for hours. There is a very large bathroom with enormous walk-in shower, with several windows for light and air-flow. XOCOTLA (Tree Tops)It is a very large one-bedroom home perfect for entertaining. Designed and decorated in an updated hacienda style, double antique-style doors open to a spacious open kitchen and dining room with a large covered sitting room. A soaring tile and wood-beam ceiling enhances the feeling of spaciousness. The dining table seats six comfortably. An indoor mesquite grill is ideal for cooking freshly-caught fish or other treats from the village. |
